DESCRIPTION
The tasting will take place directly in the heart of historic cellars - belonging to the sommelier of Louis XV. It is at the Caves du Louvre that one of our sommeliers will have the pleasure of having you taste 10 cheeses carefully selected by the Fromagerie du Louvre, paired with 5 white wines and 5 red wines for subtle pairings! This workshop will take you on the wine routes of France; from chardonnay to grenache via pinot noir, you will witness a festival of colours: from rather ebony, cherry, brick or ruby red colours, to straw, orange or copper white wine colours. From tannic notes to beautiful complexities, let yourself be surprised by an aromatic palette enhanced by the cheese and wine pairing.

DESCRIPTION
Ready for an expandable tasting of great wines and cheeses in Paris? Taste 10 wines paired with 10 cheeses in a former Royal cellar : a unique experience in Paris. The Ultimate Wine and Cheese tasting is THE MUST DO experience for wine and cheese lovers. It takes place right by the Louvre, in stunning 18th century wine cellars that were once used by the King of France himself. During this tasting, you'll get the chance to discover a large selection of wine representative of the French Terroir animated by an enthusiastic wine expert. This selection entail 5 white wines and 5 red wines: the opportunity to go around the most prestigious wine regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley. You will also get to taste delicious hand-crafted cheeses from all over France including Brie, Blue cheese and fresh goat cheese from the Loire Valley. Enjoy this ultimate experience introducing french wine and cheese in an authentic location. You'll learn in a fun and informative way the tasting' technics, how to choose wine and to pair it with cheese, the notion of AOP (the french regulation system), the different wine regions and how to distinguish the wine styles. After this ultimate Wine and Cheese Tasting, the small group you be part of (12 people maximum) will definitely understand why wine and cheese match so well together!! CANCELLATIONS
We offer complete refunds for cancellations notified at least 2 weeks before the date of the event. Within 14 to 4 days notice, the cancellation fee amounts to 50% of the total amount paid. Within 4 to 0 days of the date of your tasting or tour, cancellation fee amounts to 100% of the total amount paid.
